I think the Little Mermaid caused the recession. Why? Well, the propaganda of her singing the phrases:
"I've got twenty!
But who cares?
No big deal
I want more"
...has been simmering in the minds of young people since 1989, just long enough for us to feel we are entitled to everything (and more!)...
